TURNER LOCKS UP 101 MOVIES It's official, Turner Broadcasting System Inc's TBS Superstation and Turner Network Television have purchased exclusive rights to 101 motion pictures from Viacom Inc's Paramount Pictures. The 10-year film licensing deal begins this year and includes films such as 1983's Terms of Endearment, Saturday Night Fever (1977), Days of Thunder (1990) and The King of Comedy (1983). (08/15/96) Universal: DINOSAURS ON THE WEB Another Web site based upon the blockbuster movie and adventure ride: Jurassic Park-The Ride Online Adventure from Universal Studios will be at http://www.jurassic.unicity.com as of August 13. The site offers a game with computer-generated graphics and animation in which the player must evade an escaped dinosaur to survive. Universal, which also has published a Web game related to its WaterWorld movie property, did most of the programming forthe new game in the Java language. It is compatible with Netscape Communications Corp.'s Navigator 2.0 and above and Microsoft Corp.'s Internet Explorer 3.0.
